Terms of Sale

Pierre Capron Language Services (We, us, our) are committed to delivering high-quality translation services. This Terms of Sale outlines our non-refundable policy once work has begun, with exceptions for cases where work hasn't started and falls within the 14-day cooling-off period. The Terms of Sale apply to every service offered and purchased on the Pierre Capron Language Services website.
1. Non-Refundable Policy

Due to the nature of our services, refunds are not applicable. Once a translator has begun work on a project, refunds will not be issued. This includes any advance payments made. By engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree to this no refund policy.

Change of Mind: Refunds will not be issued for changes in the client’s personal circumstances or change of mind once work has begun.
2. Refund Exceptions
Refunds are only considered in exceptional circumstances. The following exceptions apply to our refund policy:

Refund: If the request is for a refund for work that has NOT commenced and within the 14 day cooling off period, then the refund will be processed within 30 days of approval. Such cases will be reviewed on an individual basis.

Customized Services: Services that are specifically tailored to the client's specifications and have commenced may not be eligible for a refund.

Immediate Services: If the client requests and consents to immediate commencement of the translation service within the 14-day cooling-off period, THE RIGHT TO CANCEL AND REQUEST A REFUND IS WAIVED.
3. Error Corrections

If errors are found in the translation, we will correct these errors at no additional cost. To request corrections, please send an email to contact@pierrecapron.com within 14 days of receiving the final translation. Corrections are limited to errors in translation and do not include changes to the source material or stylistic preferences.
4. Process for Corrections
To request a correction, contact us with detailed information about the error.
Please follow these steps:

Contact Us: Reach out with detailed information about the error or the reason for the revision request. Include any relevant documentation or evidence.

Review: We will review the request within 14 business days and determine the appropriate action.

Correction: If the request is for a correction, we will review the request and provide corrected translation within an agreed timeframe.
5. Compliance with French Law
In accordance with French consumer protection laws, clients have the right to a refund under specific conditions. These include:

Cooling-off Period: Clients may cancel their contract within 14 days of engaging our services if no work has commenced. This right is waived if the client requests and consents to the immediate commencement of work within this period.

Non-Conformity: If the delivered translation does not conform to the agreed terms and specifications, clients have the right to request corrections or a refund.

Force Majeure: If work cannot be completed due to unforeseen and unavoidable events (force majeure), refunds may be considered.
6. Legal Rights
